Tempsi enters the Chilean market of prefabricated houses

Krimelte Tempsi OÜ, part of the Wolf Group and the Estonian market leader of ventilated façade solutions, has thanks to its partners also made it into the Chilean market of prefabricated houses by the current moment. The first containers with house assemblies were dispatched last week.

Krimelte awarded Estonia’s most prestigious entrepreneurship award

Enterprise Estonia, the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Estonian Employers Confederation has given Krimelte, which belongs to the Wolf Group, the Design Applier 2011 award. Design Applier 2011 is one of the Entrepreneurship Award categories, which recognises Estonian companies that have accomplished economic success with original design and encourages local companies to work with Estonian designers.

Wolf Group transfers the production of expanding sealing tapes Exadan AS acquired in 2008 from Denmark to Estonia. According to Wolf Group CEO, Jaan Puusaag, the company still strives for more efficient manufacturing processes and synergy. At the same time, the factors favouring the movement of the factory to Estonia are the local favourable tax system and lower fixed costs when compared to Denmark.

The Wolves Continue Expansion into New Markets

The fast-developing Wolf Group has increased sales and expanded to new exotic countries.

This year, Wolf Group has exported construction foams and sealants to more than forty countries, reporting EUR 53 million in sales in the first nine months – this means a more than 30% growth over the same period in 2009. The good performance in the first three quarters was influenced by favourable economic conditions on the export markets and continued focus on the group’s growth through expansion to new countries. Wolf Group has just signed an agreement with a leading South-American retailer, and will soon start to export construction chemicals to Chile, Peru, Argentina and Columbia.

The consolidated turnover of the first six months of 2010 of Krimelte, an insulating foam and joint sealant manufacturer exporting its products to more than forty countries and belonging to the Wolf Group was 28.3 million euros, growing by more than 50% when compared to the results from the same period last year. This weekend, the opening event of Tallinn Treff Festival by the Estonian State Puppet and Youth Theatre will offer the audience something they have never seen before. For the opening act of the festival, a sculpture of a nun made from Penosil building foam will be erected in the Old Town. The erection of the foam nun sculpture, which is over 2 metres high and is based on an Old Town legend, was proposed by Mr. Jüri Kuuskemaa, designed by artist Kalju Kivi, and initiated by Krimelte, a company belonging to the Wolf Group, and the Estonian State Puppet and Youth Theatre.
